Marchio Green is the Business Unit of Vivi Bamboo Albania Sh.p.k. dedicated to marketing voluntary environmental contributions linked to giant bamboo cultivation projects. The programme allows companies to support identified plantations and to receive digital documentation of the environmental contribution allocated to them.

The company joins a voluntary environmental contribution programme and is allocated a given number of Voluntary Environmental Units (VEU), associated with quantities of CO₂ equivalent documented within the project. Each allocation identifies the reference project, the quantity assigned, the beneficiary and the details of the digital record.

It is a conventional unit used by Marchio Green to identify and record the allocation of an environmental contribution associated with a documented quantity of CO₂e. In the Marchio Green programme, one VEU is conventionally associated with one tonne of CO₂e, according to the technical rules and availability criteria adopted for the project. VEUs are not certified carbon credits, ETS allowances or financial instruments.

The programme is based on identified plantations and on technical and scientific documentation, including research carried out by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV). The research includes biomass measurements and assessments, as well as forecast estimates. The quantities that can be allocated to customers must be determined according to documented criteria, distinguishing measured data from future projections. Scientific research does not, on its own, constitute certification of carbon credits.

No. Joining the programme does not constitute certified offsetting of the company’s emissions and does not authorise the company to claim that it, its products or its services are climate neutral. The company may communicate its support for the environmental project, stating the quantities allocated and the related documentation, without presenting them as reductions of its own emissions.

You receive a digital statement of participation showing the essential information about the environmental contribution allocated. The statement documents participation in the Marchio Green programme. It is neither an independent environmental certification nor a certificate of climate neutrality.

The blockchain can be used to record identifiers, dates and references of allocations, making their digital trail viewable. The blockchain record does not by itself certify the accuracy of the scientific measurements or the actual environmental impact.

Marchio Green keeps a register of available and allocated quantities, with unique identifiers for each operation. Units allocated to a beneficiary are removed from commercial availability according to the programme rules. The system is designed to prevent multiple allocations of the same quantity; its effective application depends on correct data management and reconciliation.

You can communicate your participation in the programme according to the guidelines and materials authorised by Marchio Green. For example: “Our company supports the Marchio Green voluntary environmental programme, linked to bamboo plantations documented by scientific research. For the stated period we have been allocated [number] Voluntary Environmental Units, associated with [number] tonnes of CO₂e according to the programme documentation.” This communication must not be turned into a claim of emissions offsetting, climate neutrality or environmental certification of the company.

The recorded allocation remains documentable over time, except for justified corrections. The duration of the company’s participation in the programme is instead defined in the commercial contract. For multi-year memberships, allocations for subsequent years take place only when the respective quantities are documented and available.
